Year boundary

Kua and annual flying stars switch at Li Chun, not on 1 January and not on lunar New Year. Birthdays before Li Chun use the previous year.

Ming Gua / Kua

Male: before 2000, 10 − digit sum; from 2000, 9 − digit sum; 5 becomes 2. Female: before 2000, digit sum + 5; from 2000, digit sum + 6; reduce; 5 becomes 8. East group: 1, 3, 4, 9. West group: 2, 6, 7, 8.

Day gods

Wealth directions follow the day stem table in the product spec (甲 NE … 癸 N). Joy uses a separate stem table. Hour gods are not in v1.

Flying stars

Annual center star from the year digit formula, then forward flight through the nine palaces. This is a time layer only—not a full Xuan Kong natal chart.

Bagua

Compass and entrance methods are separate controls. Mixing them into one “score” is not allowed.
